Build your own solar heliostat that is optically guided. It uses very simple analog tracking electronics to drive two dc gearmotors that move the mirror in two axes. It reflects the sun to a stationary target during the day and then return to a preset morning position after sunset. It uses an optical solar tracker to determine the direction of the sun.
