The cable has been designed for outdoor underground (duct lying) applications. The PBT loose tubes prevent the optical fibers from axial or radial stresses by allowing free movement of fibers within the tube. Each loose tube (filled with high quality thyrotrophic gel) contains a maximum of fibers. The cable is well guarded to protect optical & mechanical characteristics of the fibers. The outer jacket has been specially designed to be moisture, ultraviolet & fungus resistant.
